About Us
We bring unparalleled election policy expertise and influence to the fight for free and fair elections.
The vast majority of U.S. election policy is made at the state level. Lawmakers introduce thousands of bills related to voting and elections every year, each with the potential to impact millions of voters across the country.
To follow this rapidly shifting landscape, our team launched the Election Policy Tracker. This comprehensive database supports policy experts, advocates, researchers, legislators, and others on the frontlines of the fight for free and fair elections.

Samantha Tarazi
Chief Executive Officer
Samantha Tarazi is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Voting Rights Lab, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization securing and expanding the freedom to vote in all 50 states since 2017.
As both co-founder and as the former chief operating officer, Sam has been the driving force behind the design and implementation of Voting Rights Lab’s innovative programs. She led the development of Voting Rights Lab’s real-time, 50-state Election Policy Tracker — a trusted tool used daily by leading journalists, lawmakers, and advocates — and guided its state-level advocacy efforts to advance reforms across the country. She also designed the organization’s efforts to reach and engage new audiences and build broader, cross-partisan support for a healthy, inclusive democracy. Sam’s voting and elections policy expertise has been featured in major national and in-state publications.
A serial social impact entrepreneur and seasoned community organizer, Sam has played a pivotal role in building influential social movements in recent years. For example, as the inaugural chief engagement officer at Everytown for Gun Safety, Sam helped grow Moms Demand Action from a Facebook group into a national network of over 55,000 volunteer leaders working to advance gun safety education and policy.
