Chief Executive Officer
Samantha Tarazi is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Voting Rights Lab, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to securing and strengthening elections in all 50 states.
Samantha was the driving force behind the design and implementation of Voting Rights Lab’s innovative programs. She led the development of Voting Rights Lab’s Election Risk Heat Map — a first-of-its-kind tool assessing threats from county to county. She launched the Advancing Liberty Coalition — a grassroots coalition that brings new, influential voices into the pro-democracy movement. And she spearheaded Voting Rights Lab’s real-time, 50-state Election Policy Tracker, which has become a trusted tool used daily by leading journalists, lawmakers, and advocates. Her unique perspective on voting and elections is frequently featured in national, state, and trade publications.
A serial social impact entrepreneur and seasoned community organizer, Samantha has played a pivotal role in shaping influential social movements over the past decade. As the inaugural chief engagement officer at Everytown for Gun Safety, she helped grow Moms Demand Action from a Facebook group into a national network of over 100,000 volunteer leaders advancing gun safety education and policy.
